Party, Party, Party

College life is all about grades, parties, and money. There is way too little money, way to much homework, and just enough parties. I love cast parties. For Twelfth Night we had two cast parties and a birthday party. I loved the show and the cast. I’m sorry that it’s over. Anyways, I partied hardy on Friday because I knew I’d be tired and would have my mom over on Saturday. Friday’s cast party was way way better than Saturdays. Everyone was so tiered we did nothing really on Saturday. I though had tons of fun on Friday. A lot of fun shit happened that only happens when there is alcohol present. Oh well, all I’ll say for myself is I had fun. I’m not ashamed of my actions.
Well, now that Twelfth Night is over I have my evenings free, and so does Rachel. So my homework is going on the back burner again, awh!!!! Next term she’ll be back to rehearsals. She’s doing the SRT show. And she’ll be working. Oh, and I have to get my ass in gear and work on props for Lucky Stiff.
Well, I can’t wait for spring break! Beach, here I come! Danielle is planning on coming and Heather might come as well. There are also some of my friends that are going to the beach. I’m trying to tell them that Seaside is cool, but they think they just might go to Lincoln City. If you’re going to be in Sea Side, just let me know.

Come see Twelfth Night

Well, as you can tell, I want everyone to come and see Twelfth Night! It’s really funny and very entertaining. Please Please come, you won’t regret it. Well, all my time this week has been to help Twelfth Night. Though sadly it all ends on Saturday. My dad came down last night and saw the show. I think he liked it. Then my mom is coming down on Saturday. She’s actually going to spend the night. I feel bad because we have to strike set on Saturday. I’m not going to get home till late. I guess she can entertain herself. We have Cable. I just hope she doesn’t mind if I stop by the cast party for a little bit.
Well, my life right now is good and confusing. Like I always tell Danielle I want a boyfriend! Though everyone around here does, or they want a girlfriend. There’s not a whole lot to choose from down here. Well, I have been flirting with this one guy, but I’m not sure if I’d want to date him or not. Flirting is good for now.

A director's note

I would like to invite the WOU community to a very special production of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy "Twelfth Night", running this Wed thru Sat only (3/2 - 3/5) at 7:30pm in Rice Auditorium. The production is set in Hawaii during World War II: There is a live band on-stage, lots of 1940’s era crooning music, and even Nazis doing ballet! This is not your grandparent’s Shakespeare. "Twelfth Night" is a special collaboration between the Dept of Theatre/Dance and the Dept of Music. If you’ve never enjoyed Shakespeare before, or if you’ve always been a fan of the Bard, "Twelfth Night" is sure to put a smile on your face and a song in your heart. So please come support the arts at Western Oregon! For tickets call the box office at (503)838-8462 or you can buy them at the door. Hope to see you there. $6 students, $10 general.
